These strain types still exist in EVRIMA lore:
Hyperendocrin (Type-H) ✓ CANON
- Significantly larger, stronger, and more dangerous
- Armored appearance
- Increased metabolism leads to inevitable starvation
- Status: Confirmed in EVRIMA
Neurotenic (Type-N) ✓ CANON
- Can interact with the electromagnetic spectrum
- Associated with the NHJ (Neuro-Hemato-Jolt) event
- In Legacy, expelled bio-materials dangerous on contact
- Status: Confirmed in EVRIMA (with modifications)
Tissoplastic (Type-T) ✓ CANON
- Enhanced regeneration abilities
- Can regenerate lost or destroyed limbs

The Matriarch (Status: Complicated)
Legacy Version:
A rapidly evolving creature that could intake biomass and reproduce certain physical properties. Linked with Tissoplastics but not the same. Possibly suffered from unsustainable growth like Hyperendocrins.
Key Incident Report:
"Upon reaching the structure, specimen (7 letters) began pacing. We expected rage, but it was subdued, focused, and calculated. She was the Matriarch, and no one was taking her offspring. Not here. Not now. Not ever."
EVRIMA Status: The concept of "The Matriarch" may still exist but has not been reconfirmed with the same context.
Echidna (Status: Unknown)
Legacy Identity:
- Known as the Neurotenic Mastermind
- Nicknamed "The Mother of Cannibals"
- A humanoid Neurotenic strain (likely Gen1 or Gen2)
- Could perfectly replicate human voices to lure victims
- Had a close relationship with The Eyeless/Cannibals
Legacy Transmission:
"The first generation turned to worship. Results were hindered by the malignant passing down stories of how they came to be. Soon they stopped giving results at all. Echidna considered them all children."
EVRIMA Status: Not mentioned in EVRIMA materials. Likely removed or reimagined.
Reaper (Status: Exists in EVRIMA)
Legacy Description:
- A humanoid Tissoplastic strain
- Likely Gen1 or Gen2 base
- Enhanced regeneration abilities
EVRIMA Status: ✓ Still referenced in current lore
Colossus (Status: Exists in EVRIMA)
Legacy Description:
- A humanoid Hyperendocrin strain
- Likely Gen1 or Gen2 base
- Massive size and strength

Hades (Code Name) ✗ LEGACY ONLY
Legacy Identity:
- Code name for a Hyperendocrin Carnotaurus
- Appeared in developer artwork as an overexposed, menacing silhouette
- Associated with "HADES protocol at 35%" transmission
- Possibly connected to "CODE HADES-(5 LETTERS)" mentioned in loading screens
EVRIMA Status: Not mentioned. Carnotaurus itself was removed and later re-added to EVRIMA with different lore context.
Alfie (Code Name) ✗ LEGACY ONLY
Legacy References:
- Mentioned in loading screen: "CODE ALFIE-(6 LETTERS) IS STILL MIA"
- Context: Related to Type-H Quetzalcoatlus study
- "QUETZALCOATLUS STUDY HAS BEEN NEUTRALIZED SINCE (9 LETTERS)"
- Likely caused an "ATRIUM BREACH"
Community Theory: Alfie was a Hyperendocrin Quetzalcoatlus that escaped containment, leading to the cancellation of flying Type-H studies.
EVRIMA Status: Not mentioned. Quetzalcoatlus lore was never carried forward.

Legacy Description: Primitive, violent humanoids

Legacy Dinosaur-Specific Lore
Type-H Quetzalcoatlus Study ✗ CANCELLED IN LORE
Loading Screen Message:
"ALL QUETZALCOATLUS BIOLOGICAL ASSETS HAVE BEEN DEEMED (6 LETTERS) BY (6 LETTERS) SINCE TYPE-H ALFIE-(6 LETTERS) ATRIUM BREACH. ALL STUDIES ARE TO BE CONCLUDED AND ASSETS NEUTRALIZED UNTIL A LATER DATE. ATRIUM C TO BE REPURPOSED FOR TERRESTRIAL TYPE-H SPECIMENS ONLY. DO NOT REPLICATE."
Implication: After the "Alfie" incident, Apollo banned flying Hyperendocrin studies.
Utahraptor Neural Intelligence ✗ LEGACY ONLY
Loading Screen Message:
"ALL UTAHRAPTOR STUDIES ARE TO CONCLUDE IN EAST VALLEY PADDOCK. (6 LETTERS) HAS NOTED VARIABLE NEURAL RANGE OF GEN-1 SPECIMENS TO BE NO HIGHER THAN THE AVERAGE GOAT. SINCE SITE-(4 LETTERS), GEN-2 SPECIMENS HAVE SHOWN NEURAL VARIABILITY TO RIVAL HOMINID INTELLIGENCE."
Implication: Later-generation Utahraptors achieved near-human intelligence.
EVRIMA Status: Not mentioned. Utahraptor (now called Omniraptor in EVRIMA) does not have this lore connection.
Carnotaurus Type-H Development ✗ LEGACY ONLY
Loading Screen Message:
"CARNOTAURUS STUDIES ARE TO REMAIN ON SOUTHERN PLATEAU. DATA FROM ALL GEN-1 FAILURES ARE TO BE EXPUNGED ALONG WITH OUTDATED BIO-ASSETS IN (6 LETTERS). GEN-2 DISPLAYS INCREASED PHYSICAL APTITUDE AND METABOLISM. SUBJECTS STILL SUFFER FROM POOR EYESIGHT AND ROTATION DURING HIGH VELOCITY MOTION. TYPE-H DEVELOPMENT APPROVED BY (7 LETTERS). REPLICATE."
EVRIMA Status: Carnotaurus was removed from EVRIMA for years, then re-added without this specific lore context.
Water Endurance Studies ✗ LEGACY ONLY
Loading Screen Message:
"ALL CASE STUDIES AS OF (10 LETTERS)-2014 HAVE SHOWN THAT ALL GEN-1 SPECIES CANNOT TREAD WATER FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME. DUE TO SIZE ISSUES OF NEWEST TYPE-M SPECIMENS, ALL FURTHER AQUATIC BIOLOGICAL STUDIES WILL MOVED TO ATRIUM B (POD 4) UNTIL THE BAY LOCKE IS FINISHED DEVELOPMENT."
Implication: Aquatic/semi-aquatic asset development required specialized facilities.

Why These Changes?
The transition from Legacy to EVRIMA involved:
- Streamlining - Removing unnecessarily complex strain types
- Rebranding - Giving clearer, more meaningful names (Gen1/Gen2 vs Tribals/Mercenaries)
- Decanonizing - Severing ties with Primal Carnage
- Focusing - Concentrating on core concepts rather than sprawling mysteries
- Revision - Updating lore to fit the game's new direction
